KATHMANDU, Aug 26: “A person without art, music, and literature is just like an animal without a tail.” This is one of the moral lessons mentioned in ‘Hitopadesha’. Likewise, one can have a true characteristic of humans, only after having the knowledge of these very things. Realizing this fact, schools these days include art, music, and literature in their curriculum.
An exhibition, ‘QKS Art Exhibition 2018', kicked off on Tuesday at Siddhartha Art Gallery, Baber Mahal Revisited contemplating the same belief. Students from total 23 schools participated in the exhibition, organized by Quality Kathmandu School. The exhibition aimed to improve the potential of students in art and to produce quality art as per the organizers.

If there is any kind of pain, frustration in an artists’ life, it will spread in the canvas as colors. And I have noticed the presence of the future artist in this group.” Similarly, Sangeeta Thapa, director of Siddhartha art gallery, insisted that she would help those students who wanted to build their career in the arts field. The exhibition contains paintings with themes such as the world of my dream, preservation of heritage and street children.
