She was working as a computer operator in the DoTM for the past three years. She was arrested by the CIB on the suspicion that she was involved in printing licenses based on fake details.

Along with her, the number of people arrested in the fake license case has reached 16. During the investigation, Harish Bhatt, Suraj Prakash Aryal, Narayan Prasad Pandey, Loojaras Danuwar, Pradeep Sunar, Ajit Mishra and Milan Bastola have been arrested, while another suspect Lakshan Pandey is absconding.

The Department's investigation found that more than one hundred thousand licenses have been distributed irregularly in the last 10 years. During this period, only numbers have been placed on 28,000 license cards issued by the DoTM. Sources claim that this is done to sell by filling in other details when necessary.
