CHITWAN, Feb 9: The family members of late Prashant Pokharel handed over a library built in his memory to a local Shree Aadarbhut School on the occasion of its 65th annual celebration on Wednesday.
The chief guest Ishwor Sapkota, member of Bagmati Province Assembly and late Prashant Pokharel's grandfather Leela Bahadur Pokharel jointly inaugurated the library. They also unveiled the painting of the late Prashant Pokharel amidst the program.

Addressing the program, Leela Bahadur Pokharel, grandfather of late Pokharel and the patron of the library, expressed hope that the library established in memory of his grandson will provide young people the opportunity to receive the light of education even as he passed away at an early age.
Principal of the school, Umesh Acharya, said that he is very happy to have a library that has plenty of reading materials as there is an urgent need to have a well-resourced library to provide quality education to students. He also expressed confidence that the library would be of great help to provide quality education to children.
Prashant Pokharel, a former student of the school, died in a road accident on April 25, 2016.
