Family members of deceased get financial assistance

SINDHUPALCHOK, Oct 23: Indrawati Rural Municipality and Sindhu Helambu Yatayat Committee have provided financial assistance to the family members of those killed in a bus accident that occurred on October 12 in Sindhupalchwok district. Twelve persons had died in the accident.

SINDHUPALCHOK, Oct 23: Indrawati Rural Municipality and Sindhu Helambu Yatayat Committee have provided financial assistance to the family members of those killed in a bus accident that occurred on October 12 in Sindhupalchwok district. Twelve persons had died in the accident. 


Organizing a function to mourn the deaths in Indrawati Rural Municipality-10, the rural municipality and Sindhu Helambu Yatayat provided financial assistance of Rs 25,000 in addition to Rs 40,000 to each family of the deceased.

According to Bansha Lal Tamang, chairperson of Indrawati Rural Municipality, the financial assistance has been provided to the family members to perform the final rituals of the deceased. After the accident, Tamang had pledged to provide financial assistance to the families of the deceased.


On October 12, a Helambhu Yatayat bus (Ba 2 Kha 2715) en route to Kathmandu from Sindhupalchok plunged some 200 meters from the highway, leaving 12 persons dead and more than 100 injured.


According to Sindhu Helambhu Yatayat, it is in the process to provide insurance to the family members of the deceased. The insurance amount will be provided within a few days.
