Far West Travel Mart 2022 concludes successfully

KATHMANDU, April 11: Farwest Travel Mart, organized by Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City and NATTA with the objective of promoting tourism activities in the Far Western Province has concluded successfully. The travel mart was held from April 8 to 10 in Dhangadhi.

KATHMANDU, April 11: Farwest Travel Mart, organized by Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City and NATTA with the objective of promoting tourism activities in the Far Western Province has concluded successfully. The travel mart was held from April 8 to 10 in Dhangadhi. 


The Far West Travel March 2022, believed to promote tourism in the country’s far west by branding the ‘Beautiful Farwest: Shukla to Api Saipal’. NTB Chief Executive Officer Dr Dhananjay Regmi said that with the idea of decentralizing the tourism market of Kathmandu, Lumbini and Chitwan, travel marts are organized across the country and they help in the promotion of tourism. "We believe that these kinds of marts held in Nepalgunj, Dharan and Dhangadhi are helpful in attracting Indian tourists to Nepal,” he said.

Similarly, attractive stalls of the pavilion, stalls of nine districts as well as tour operators, hoteliers and tourism service providers were constructed in the travel mart. Local culture, cultural presentation and food stalls will be the attractions of the mart.


Likewise, the tour packages were exchanged between tourism business representatives of the seven provinces for the promotion of domestic tourism.
