The ‘Don’ series starring Shah Rukh Khan is one of the most loved movies of the King Khan fans. The audience has been eagerly waiting for the third installment of ‘Don’ to go on the floors. However, according to a report by Deccan Chronicle, ‘Don 3’ might not happen any time soon.

According to the reports, an industry source has told that Farhan Akhtar currently has no script, and not even an idea for a plot to do another film. He is busy with his own acting and music career. It’s been nine years now, he hasn’t directed any movie. Thus, the ‘Don’ series appears to be dead.
Reportedly, a close friend of Farhan also gave a similar statement. He said, Farhan doesn’t seem inclined to direct a film at this point of his life. He currently is busy prepping for the role of boxer in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s ‘Toofan’, which will keep him occupied even till 2020. Also, he recently wrapped the shoot of Shonali Bose’s ‘The Sky Is Pink’; thus, directing doesn’t seem to be a part of his schedule.
