At present, heavy snow is frozen in Simkot and up to two feet of snow is reported in villages in the northern region. The temperature has decreased sharply in Limi, Muchu, Khagalgaon, Sanda, Hepkka, Bargaun, Simkot and other villages in the area.

“The temperature in Limi and Muchu has exceeded minus 15 degrees Celsius due to snow,” said Muchuka Lama, a local resident. “It has been snowing continuously since last evening. With snowfall, there is strong wind due to which people are not able to get out of their houses.”
