Film ‘GodFather’ starring Salman Khan and Chiranjeevi to be shot in Jomsom too

Salman Khan and Chiranjeevi starrer Telugu film ‘GodFather’ is also set to be shot in Nepal.


The film’s cast and crew including executive producer Umashankar Raju is back after seeing the filming locations in Nepal. Production controller and chairperson of Three Wheelers, Suraj Acharya said that the team returned after seeing the location of Jomsom airport.

This week, along with Raju, line producer Rajendra Ghimire and Production Controller Acharya reached Jomsom. Although the location is currently being looked at, the decision of whether the film will be shot in Nepal will be taken by Tuesday.


Acharya said, “They like the location. They have said that they will give the decision about shooting in Jomsom tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.”Acharya added, “In particular, preparations have been made to shoot only a 5-minute scene. Initially, their plan was to shoot in Norway. We convinced them that shooting in Nepal will be easy and visa and plane expenses will also be avoided as well as Nepal’s tourism will also be benefitted.


The film directed by Mohan Raja and produced jointly by Konidela Production Company and Super Good Films is expected to release on October 5.  


Earlier, Bollywood film ‘Unchai’ was shot in Nepal under the management of Three Wheelers headed by Acharya.
