FinMin directs Beema Samiti to start preparations for settling COVID-19 insurance claims

KATHMANDU, Sept 30: Finance Minister Janardan Sharma has started discussions on settling the COVID-19 insurance claims yet to be paid by various insurance companies.


Minister Sharma on Wednesday summoned the officials including the chairman of Beema Samiti, Surya Prasad Silwal, and discussed the resources and measures required for settling the insurance claims. Beema Samiti has been instructed to start preparations by conducting further study on the issue and move ahead with the necessary process for the clearance of COVID-19 insurance claims.
