Hang your personal photos on the wall: Hanging your few favorite and personal photos up on the wall is one of the quickest and easiest ways to make a new place feel like home. In the case your concern regarding putting holes in the walls, pick up some removable picture-hanging strips to use instead of nails.

Paint the walls with your favorite colors: Select colors for your whole house for a vibrant prospect. Save yourself some time and commit to painting the walls. The freshly painted walls will make your place feel more like you and can help determine the rest of your home’s design.

Display fresh flowers: A bouquet of freshly cut flowers, whether from the grocery store or your backyard, can instantly make any room feel friendlier. Make arrangement by pulling out a few single blooms to display in any vases, be it amphora, cylinder vase, pedestal vase or home base bouquet vase around the house.

Roll out a fluffy rug: Even if you generally prefer bare floors, fluffy rugs will make your new house feel extra comfortable. If you’re concerned about keeping rugs clean, put it in a room away from entrances and heavy foot traffic such as an ideal bedroom.
