Five hospitals receive 30 units of oxygen concentrators from Karuna Foundation

Karuna Foundation has distributed 30 oxygen concentrators of seven liters to five different hospitals in the country.

KATHMANDU, May 15: The lack of medical oxygen has created a difficult situation for patients who are in a critical condition due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. In such a situation, Karuna Foundation has distributed 30 oxygen concentrators of seven liters to five different hospitals in the country. 


The hospitals include Dhulikhel Hospital which received 8 units of oxygen concentrators, Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital received 8 units, Sukraraj Tropical and Communicable Disease Hospital received 10 units while Tikapur Hospital in Kailali and Adara in Humla received 2 units each.

The organization has expressed happiness over being able to help even a small amount of support during such unprecedented times, hoping that their small effort could help the medical staff to save lives in the hospitals. The organization said it salutes the doctors and the medical staff who are carrying out their duties in such difficult times.
