Flood sweeps away under construction motorable bridge

TAPLEJUNG, July 16: The flood on Tamor River has swept away an under construction motorable bridge at Dovan in Taplejung district early this morning.

TAPLEJUNG, July 16: The flood on Tamor River has swept away an under construction motorable bridge at Dovan in Taplejung district early this morning.


According to the Area Police Office, Dovan, the floods swept away the under construction bridge at 2:00 am.

Chief District Officer, Chakrapani Pandey, said that property worth around Rs 100 million was damaged after the flood swept away the bridge.


Although the agreement regarding the construction of the bridge was signed six years ago, it was started only one year ago. RSS
