MYAGDI, August 3: People's mobility has been obstructed after a flood at Malika Rural Municipality-7, Marangkhola in Myagdi on Monday swept away a wooden bridge.

The flood took away the bridge over the Marang rivulet passing through Shivaratri and Bharwang settlement.

It may be noted that the wooden bridge was installed after the flood that occurred in July 2020 washed away the bridge constructed over the rivulet with the use of Truss technology.

Chairman of Janmabhumi Youth Club of Bharwang Prabin Jumjali shared that people's mobility has been completely halted after the flood took away the temporary wooden bridge.

"Problem has emerged as Bharwang village remains out of connectivity through road and trail route," he said, adding even school students are unable to attend classes.
