Former Minister Joshi sentenced to nine months in prison for corruption

KATHMANDU, July 28: The Supreme Court sentenced former minister Govinda Raj Joshi to nine months in prison and a fine of  Rs 6.9 million for corruption.

KATHMANDU, July 28: The Supreme Court sentenced former minister Govinda Raj Joshi to nine months in prison and a fine of  Rs 6.9 million for corruption.


The verdict was issued by Justices Binod Sharma and Bal Krishna Dhakal, overturning a previous sentence of one and a half years handed down by the Special Court.
