Former royal couple admitted to Norvic Hospital for COVID-19 treatment

KATHMANDU, April 24: Former King Gyanendra Shah and Queen Komal Shah have been admitted to the Thapathali-based Norvic International Hospital in the capital.

According to the hospital administration, the former royal couple and their daughter Prerana Singh were admitted to the hospital at 1PM on Saturday for the treatment of COVID-19. They were diagnosed with the disease on April 20. 


“They don’t have any health complications and their health condition is stable for now,” Somnath Bastola, chief of the hospital's Corporate Communications and Public Relations Department, told Republica over the phone.
