In the fake ticket sale case, 12 officials including the president of the Attariya Chamber of Commerce, Kalyan Singh Bohra had initially filed a complaint against Saund and Mahara. However, Bohra filed a complaint against the general secretary Khadka and Bogati the next day.

An audio recording was released, revealing Bohra telling the general secretary to file another complaint for a smooth resolution of the incident.

Dilip Kumar Saud, the secretary of the Atariya Chamber of Commerce involved in the case, also served as the Personal Secretary to the Mayor of Godawari municipality. However, following his involvement in the incident, the mayor's secretariat relieved him from the position.

The Attariya Chamber of Commerce entrusted the management of tickets to Saund, while Bhuvan Mahara, the president of FSU (Free Student Union) of Durga Laxmi Multiple Campus, handled the sales.

The Attariya Chamber of Commerce had initially submitted a writ petition to the District Administration Office in Kailali, calling for an investigation into financial irregularities involving the printing and sale of fake tickets during the provincial festival that started from January 11.
