Leaders said that the party is preparing to join the government under Yadav’s leadership. But the party has not been able to finalize a minister and the deputy ministerial portfolio due to several aspirants.

Rajendra Shrestha, Renu Kumari Yadav, Mohammed Istiyak Rai, Pradeep Yadav and Ram Sahaya Yadav have been seen as potential contenders for the remaining two portfolios.  Shrestha told Republica that party would finalize the name by Thursday evening.
