Gandaki Province’s COVID-19 tally surges to 2,245

KATHMANDU, Sept 2: With 35 new cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) detected in the past 24 hours, Gandaki Province’s COVID-19 tally has reached 2,245 on Wednesday.

KATHMANDU, Sept 2: With 35 new cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) detected in the past 24 hours, Gandaki Province’s COVID-19 tally has reached 2,245 on Wednesday.


According to the Health Directorate Office under the Ministry of Social Development of the Province, a total of 35 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed across the Province through the COVID-19 PCR tests conducted at Pokhara Tuberculosis Treatment Center and Pokhara Institute of Health Sciences.

Of the new infected people, 23 people are from Kaski, seven from Nawalpur, four from Lamjung and one from Tanahu district. Six of the infected persons are females.


Pokhara Metropolitan City-1 alone has witnessed 20 new cases. All of them are males.
