PUNARBAS, KANCHANPUR, March 11: The deceased victim of Kanchanpur incident, Govinda Gautam of Punarbas Municipalty-08, will be cremated with national honor.
The postmortem of the body of Gautam was performed at Seti Zonal Hospital on Saturday. The bereaved family and the locals allowed for the postmortem only after the government on Friday declared Gautam as martyr.

Chief District Officer (CDO) of Kailali, Govinda Rijal said that the family allowed for the postmortem on Saturday. CDO informed that the last rite of Gautam will be performed on Sunday morning after the family made consent on it.
According to the CDO of Kanchanpur, Manohar Prasad Khanal, the funeral of the deceased will be performed with national honor. The Ministry of Home Affairs have made circular that the last rite will be performed by the 11 salute by the Nepal Police with national anthem.
