SINDHULI, June 1: Ghyanglekh Rural Municipality of Sindhuli has decided to take action if the people holding public positions do not send their children to public schools.
Ram Kumar Karki, the chief administrative officer of Ghyanglekh Rural Municipality, said that the local body has formulated a rule under which employees working in government offices, people's representatives, teachers working in public schools within the rural municipality, and people holding public positions must send their children to public schools.

Administrative officer Karki said that this decision was taken by the meeting of the rural municipality held on May 24. The rural municipality said that it has already issued notices to public position holders to teach their children in public schools up to class 10.
At a time when people holding public positions are also infatuated with private schools, Ghyanglekh Rural Municipality has made a rule that they must teach their children in public schools.
The mandatory rule has been imposed in order to improve the quality of education in public schools across the rural municipality.
