Gold price decreases by Rs 100 per tola

KATHMANDU, July 30: The price of gold has witnessed a small decline in the domestic market on Tuesday. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations, the price of gold has decreased by Rs 100 per tola.


The price of fine gold is fixed at Rs 146,000 per tola, marking a decrease from Rs 146,100 per tola on Monday.

Similarly, the price of silver has also declined by Rs 10 per tola. Silver is being traded at Rs 1,740 per tola today. It was Rs 1,750 per tola yesterday.


The prices of gold and silver have decreased in the international market today. Gold fell to US$ 2,386.80 per ounce on Tuesday, down from US$ 2,395.37 per ounce on Monday. Silver also dropped to US$ 27.92 per ounce, down from US$ 28.10 per ounce the previous day.
