Gold price decreases by Rs 200 per tola

KATHMANDU, Aug 4: The price of gold which soared to an all-time high on Friday, has declined by Rs 200 per tola on Sunday.

KATHMANDU, Aug 4: The price of gold which soared to an all-time high on Friday, has declined by Rs 200 per tola on Sunday.


According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations, the trading price of gold for Sunday has been set at Rs 149,700 per tola, down from Rs 149,900 per tola on Friday.

Meanwhile, compared to Friday, the price of silver has dropped by Rs 10 per tola. On Sunday, silver is being traded at Rs 1,785 per tola, down from Rs 1,795 per tola on Friday.


Gold prices have also declined in the international market on Sunday. Gold, which was priced at $2,458.78 per ounce on Friday, dropped to $2,442.95 per ounce on Sunday.


Similarly, silver is priced at $28.56 per ounce today, down from $28.84 per ounce on Friday.
