Gold price drops by Rs 1,600 per tola

KATHMANDU, Nov 23: The price of gold decreased by Rs 1600 per tola on Tuesday. 


The price of gold stands at Rs 92,300 per tola after the drop, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA). Fine gold was traded for Rs 93,900 per tola on Monday.

Similarly, standard gold’s price is set at Rs 91,800 on Tuesday. Its price on Monday was Rs 93,400. Silver also saw a slight drop in its price as it is being traded for Rs 1,255 today, a drop from Rs 1,270 per tola on Monday.


The Federation has been fixing the price of gold and silver in Nepal in line with the transaction price of the international market. Gold is being traded at around USD 1,808 per ounce in the international market today.
