KATHMANDU, Sept 28: Over the course of two days, the price of gold has witnessed a significant decrease of Rs 2,200 per tola.
On Tuesday, the gold was traded at Rs 111,800 per tola, but as of Thursday, its value has dropped to Rs 109,600 per tola, marking a decline of Rs 1,400 per tola in a single day, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association.
Gold price drops by Rs 2,300 per tola
This downward trend began on Wednesday when the price of gold decreased by Rs 800 per tola. The drop in gold price has been consistent over the past few days.
Similarly, silver prices have also taken a hit, recording a decline in its price by Rs 15 per tola, with the current price at Rs 1,370 per tola. Just a day ago on Wednesday, the silver was traded at Rs 1,385 per tola.
