Gold price drops by Rs 400 per tola

KATHMANDU, Feb 5: The price of gold has dropped by Rs 400 per tola in the domestic market on Monday.


Fine gold is being traded at Rs 118,500 per tola today according to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association. Compared to Friday, the gold price decreased by Rs 600 per tola, and on Sunday, it was traded at Rs 118,900 per tola on Sunday.

Last Friday, the gold price was traded at Rs 119,500 per tola. Before that, it was traded at Rs 119,200 per tola, an increase of Rs 500 per tola compared to the previous day. It reached the price of Friday after an increase of Rs 300 per tola.


The price of silver has been fixed at Rs 1,390 per tola on Monday with a decrease of Rs 5 per tola. On Sunday, silver was traded at Rs 1,395 per tola. It was sold at Rs 1,415 per tola on Friday and Rs 1,410 per tola on Thursday.


Similarly, Gold is traded at $2031.51 per ounce in the international market on Monday. It was traded at $2039.65 on Sunday.


Similarly, silver price is set at $22.55 per ounce. On Sunday, it was traded at $22.69 per ounce.
