Gold price falls by Rs 500 per tola

KATHMANDU, Feb 17: The price of gold has decreased by Rs 500 per tola in the domestic market on Friday.

KATHMANDU, Feb 17: The price of gold has decreased by Rs 500 per tola in the domestic market on Friday.


The price of fine gold has been set at Rs 102,500 per tola on Friday. The precious yellow metal was traded at Rs 103,000 per tola on Thursday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Associations.

Similarly, the price of standard gold has been fixed at Rs 102,000 per tola today. It was traded at Rs 102,500 per  tola yesterday.


Today, the price of silver has also decreased by Rs 10 per tola and stands at Rs 1,275 on Friday, which was sold at Rs 1,285 per tola on Thursday.


The federation has been fixing the price of gold and silver in Nepal in line with the transaction prices of the metals in the international market.
