KATHMANDU, April 18: The price of gold has gone down by Rs 600 per tola on Thursday.


As reported by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations, fine gold is being traded at Rs 138,600 per tola today, down from Rs 139,200 per tola on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Similarly, the price of standard gold is fixed at Rs 137, 950 per tola today.


In contrast, the trading price of silver has increased by Rs 10 per tola to become Rs 1,725 per tola on Thursday. It was Rs 1,715 per tola on Wednesday after a drop of Rs 35 compared to Tuesday.


Internationally, both gold and silver experienced a slight decrease in their trading prices on Thursday. Gold is currently trading at $2374.9 per ounce, compared to $2381.91 per ounce on Wednesday and $2388.32 per ounce on Tuesday. Similarly, silver is valued at $28.4 per ounce, down from $28.21 per ounce on Wednesday and $28.85 per ounce on Tuesday.
