Gold price increases by Rs 1,000 per tola

KATHMANDU, May 15: The price of gold has increased by Rs 1,000 per tola in the domestic market on Wednesday.

KATHMANDU, May 15: The price of gold has increased by Rs 1,000 per tola in the domestic market on Wednesday.


The price of fine gold is set at Rs 138,400 per tola today. It was traded at Rs 137,400 per tola yesterday.

Similarly, the price of standard gold currently stands at Rs 137,750 per tola. 


Furthermore, the price of silver has witnessed an incline by Rs 5 per tola. Silver is being traded at Rs 1,745 per tola today, up from Rs 1,740 per tola yesterday.


These price hikes align with the increase in the international market, where gold is trading at $2,358.18 per ounce and silver at $28.54 per ounce today.
