Gold price reaches new peak at Rs 133,000 per tola, price of silver surges to all-time high

KATHMANDU, April 3: Gold prices continue to soar, reaching a new peak of Rs 133,000 per tola, with silver also surging to an all-time high.

KATHMANDU, April 3: Gold prices continue to soar, reaching a new peak of Rs 133,000 per tola, with silver also surging to an all-time high.


According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations, the trading price of fine gold stands at Rs 133,000 per tola today, marking a significant increase of Rs 1,800 per tola compared to Tuesday's rate of Rs 131,200 per tola.

The price of standard gold is set at Rs 132,350 per tola today, marking an increase from Rs 130,550 per tola yesterday.


Silver price has reached Rs 1,610 per tola. This is an increase of Rs 65 per tola compared to the previous day. It was Rs 1,545 per tola on Tuesday. 


In the international market, gold is currently trading at $2283.86 per ounce, up from $2253.84 on Tuesday. Likewise, silver is trading at $26.34 an ounce, compared to $25.32 on Tuesday.
