Gold price rises by Rs 500 per tola, setting new record

KATHMANDU, Sept 24: The price of gold has set a new record for the third consecutive day on Tuesday. The price of gold has again increased by Rs 500 per tola in the domestic market on Tuesday.

KATHMANDU, Sept 24: The price of gold has set a new record for the third consecutive day on Tuesday. The price of gold has again increased by Rs 500 per tola in the domestic market on Tuesday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Associations, fine gold is being traded at Rs 159,700 per tola today. On Monday, fine gold was traded at Rs 159,200 per tola.


On the other hand, the price of silver has dropped by Rs 5 per tola to become Rs 1,915 per tola today. It was sold at Rs 1,920 per tola on Monday.
