Gold price sets new record, reaches Rs 144,000 per tola

KATHMANDU, June 6: The price of gold has reached an all-time high in the domestic market today. It is being traded at Rs 144,000 per tola (11.66 grams), an increase by Rs 1,800 per tola compared yesterday.

KATHMANDU, June 6: The price of gold has reached an all-time high in the domestic market today. It is being traded at Rs 144,000 per tola (11.66 grams), an increase by Rs 1,800 per tola compared yesterday. 


According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations, the price of fine gold stood at Rs 142,200 per tola on Wednesday.

Similarly, the Federation has fixed the price of standard gold at Rs 143,300 today against Rs 141,500 on Wednesday. 


Likewise, silver is being traded at Rs 1,850 per tola today. It was traded at Rs 1,825 per tola yesterday.
