Gold, silver prices hit record high

KATHMANDU, May 19: The price of gold has climbed in the domestic market. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Associations, the price of fine gold has increased by Rs 1,600 per tola (11.66 grams) and reached Rs 140,900. Fine gold was traded at Rs 139,300 on Friday.

KATHMANDU, May 19: The price of gold has climbed in the domestic market. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Associations, the price of fine gold has increased by Rs 1,600 per tola (11.66 grams) and reached Rs 140,900. Fine gold was traded at Rs 139,300 on Friday. 


Similarly, the price of standard gold has reached Rs 140,200 from Rs 138,650 on Friday.

A new record has also been set in the price of silver as well. Silver which was traded at Rs 1,800  per tola on the previous trading day, Friday, is being traded at Rs 1,910 per tola today.
