BIRATNAGAR, August 7: Minister for Supplies Shiva Kumar Mandal has said that it would be a big achievement for the government if the disgruntled Rastriya Janata Party-Nepal participated in the third phase of local level elections.

He said the government was committed to bringing the RJP-Nepal on board the polls while continuing activities initiated by erstwhile government in a bid to increase ownership of the new constitution. He also said the government was serious in holding elections—provincial and federal—within the stipulated timeframe (January 21, 2018).
