POKHARA, May 27: CPN-UML KP Sharma Oli has accused the government for planning to postpone the second phase of the local level elections.
He said that the government is making excuses in the name of the demands of the Rastriya Janata Party Nepal (RJPN) to either postpone the election or to halt the election slated for June 14.
Addressing a victory rally in Pokhara-Lekhnath metropolis on Saturday, former Prime Minister Oli blamed the government looking for the reasons to suspend the election.

“The ruling coalition can make reason of the Ramadan or the demands of the RJPN to postpone the election”, said Oli.
Similarly, he urged the RJPN to make consensus in democratic way. “With their new demands added each time will affect the democracy”, added Oli.
Speaking at the same program, newly elected mayor Man Bahadur GC said that he will work to uplift the condition of the metropolis with the involvement of everyone.
Likewise, newly elected deputy-mayor Manju Gurung said that she will put her level effort fulfil the commitments that were made during the election campaign.
