Govt transfers five secretaries in a major bureaucratic shuffle

KATHMANDU, April 14: The government has announced the transfer of five secretaries. A Cabinet meeting held on Friday transferred Dinesh Bhattarai, secretary of the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, to the Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens.

KATHMANDU, April 14: The government has announced the transfer of five secretaries. A Cabinet meeting held on Friday transferred Dinesh Bhattarai, secretary of the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, to the Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens.


Suman Raj Aryal, secretary of the Ministry of Women and Children, has been transferred to the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Similarly, Arjun Prasad Pokharel, secretary of the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, has been transferred to the Central Bureau of Statistics.

Mukunda Prasad Niroula, secretary of the Office of the Vice President has been transferred to the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration (MoFAGA). The Secretary of the MoFAGA has been transferred to the National Natural Resources and Fiscal Commission.
