KATHMANDU, May 17: The government has warned of taking action against those hospitals asking COVID-19 patients to arrange medical oxygen on their own for treatment.


Expressing a serious concern over reports that hospitals are asking COVID-19 patients to make arrangements of medical oxygen for treatment on their own, the Ministry of Health and Population has urged the hospitals to avoid such activities at the earliest.

The hospitals must not ask patients to make arrangements for medical oxygen on their own, reads a press statement issued by MoHP.
