KATHMANDU, July 27: Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Barsha Man Pun has reiterated that the government will not introduce any bill in the parliament without consulting concerned stakeholders.
Speaking at a program organized on Saturday in the capital to mark the 15th anniversary of the National Association of Community Electricity Users-Nepal(NACEUN), Minister Pun expressed committment to incorporating suggestions of the concerned stakeholders in formulating the acts and policies.

Citing that the government is all set to endorse the act and policy related to water resources, Minister Pun said that they will not be against national interest.
Stating that there are almost 450,000 wooden electricity poles in the country, Minister Pun informed that the government will soon start a campaign to remove the wooden poles and urged the provincial and local governments to collaborate on the campaign.
Speaking on the same occasion, chief whip of the main opposition Nepali Congress, Bal Krishna Khand urged the government to register the community electricity act in the parliament at the earliest assuring it of voting in favor of it.
