NEB urges those students undergoing COVID-19 treatment not to attend the examination


KATHMANDU, Oct 22: The board examination of grade 12 students, which was put off earlier due to COVID-19 pandemic, has been scheduled for November 24, 2020.


The National Examination Board (NEB) is all set to conduct examinations following all health safety protocols.

The examination will be of one-and-half-hour-long beginning from 8 am. The examinations will be of 40 marks only.


Of the remaining 60 percent, 40 percent will be covered from the cumulative marks obtained in grade 11 and 20 percent from internal evaluation, according to NEB.


Similarly, the board has directed those students contracted with COVID-19 not to attend the exams. The board has announced separate arrangements for such students. 


Also, the board has directed those students who are unable to attend the examination from their own colleges to participate in examinations as per the details provided to NEB earlier.
