NEB schedules grade enhancement exam of grade 12 for September 23-24

KATHMANDU, Aug 16: The National Examination Board (NEB) has announced that the Grade 12 supplementary examinations (grade enhancement exams) will be held on September 23 and September 24. The NEB issued a notice on Wednesday and called the students who will participate in the examination to submit their applications by September 17.

KATHMANDU, Aug 16: The National Examination Board (NEB) has announced that the Grade 12 supplementary examinations (grade enhancement exams) will be held on September 23 and September 24. The NEB issued a notice on Wednesday and called the students who will participate in the examination to submit their applications by September 17.


The results for the grade 12 regular examinations were published on Tuesday. Out of which 49 percent received 'not graded' status. Those who participated in the annual examination of grade12 as a regular examinee and obtained a minimum grade of D or above in other subjects on the theoretical side are eligible to apply for the supplementary exams.

The NEB has clarified that students who received a 'not graded' status in up to two subjects or achieved a grade of D or higher in other theoretical subjects can participate in the examination.


According to the NEB, on September 23, there will be an examination of Compulsory English as well as an exam of those who will give one subject. On September 24, there will be an examination of those who will give examinations for two subjects.
