Gradual improvement in ex-PM Nepal's health

KATHMANDU, Sept 30: Chairman of the CPN (Unified Socialist) and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal's health is improving gradually.

KATHMANDU, Sept 30: Chairman of the CPN (Unified Socialist) and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal's health is improving gradually.


Nepal was admitted to the TU Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj on Wednesday for treatment after he was diagnosed with fever and cough. The party’s leader Jeevan Ram Shrestha said, “Chairperson Nepal has started talking normally after improvements in his health.”

The doctors involved in the treatment of Nepal have informed Republica that he will be discharged from the hospital in a few days. A team including senior lung and chest diseases specialist Dr Santa Kumar Das was involved in the treatment of the former prime minister Nepal.
