Growing cold affects Saptari; schools closed

SAPTARI, Jan 5: Normal life has been affected in Saptari with abrupt fall in temperature.  General public have suffered from different diseases such as Pneumonia, common cold, cough, cold diarrhea, headache and asthma in Rajbiraj and other areas due to growing cold.

SAPTARI, Jan 5: Normal life has been affected in Saptari with abrupt fall in temperature. 

General public have suffered from different diseases such as Pneumonia, common cold, cough, cold diarrhea, headache and asthma in Rajbiraj and other areas due to growing cold. 


Mainly children and old-age people are suffering most from the diseases, said the Saptari District Public Health Office.

Meanwhile, the community schools have been closed in Saptari district since Thursday due to the effect of cold.According to the District Education Office, the schools have been shut as the cold wave has adversely affected children. 


District Education Officer Dolraj Pandey said that the schools have been closed down for Thursday and Friday considering potential effects of cold on children. RSS
