KATHMANDU, Dec 9: The GTA Foundation has successfully conducted a heart check-up camp for mountain guides, trekking guides, and porters as part of its main project.
The camp held at Shahid Gangalal National Heart Center in Bansbari on Saturday conducted heart examinations of approximately 100 people from the ranks of mountain guides, trekking guides, and porters.
This initiative addresses the issue of service disruption for these individuals who, despite experiencing heart problems and pain, face challenges accessing expensive examinations and treatments.
