KATHMANDU, July 24: The weather is partly cloudy across the country this morning. There is light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some places of Madhesh province and few places in the rest of the country, according to Meteorological Forecasting Department (MFD).
The MFD has said that it will be partly cloudy across the country in the afternoon. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning at some places in hilly areas of other provinces including Koshi province.
Heavy rainfall likely in some provinces today
Officials of MFD said that there is a possibility of light rain in a few places in the rest of the country.
There is a possibility of heavy rain with thunder and lightning at some places of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Sudurpaschim provinces and few places of rest of the provinces on Monday.
According to MFD, there will be partial to normal rain over the country at night. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning at some places in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Sudurpaschim provinces and few places in rest of the province.
Due to heavy rainfall, MFD has requested everyone to be cautious to avoid damage caused by floods, landslides and soil erosion.
