High Court judges sworn in

KATHMANDU, Jan 18: Newly appointed judges of the High Courts, today have taken oath of office and secrecy amid a function here in the Supreme Court.

KATHMANDU, Jan 18: Newly appointed judges of the High Courts, on Wednesday have taken oath of office and secrecy amid a function here in the Supreme Court. 


Chief Judges of the related High Courts administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly appointed judges.

The meeting of the Judicial Council on January 12 had recommended the names of 80 judges to seven high courts. 


Chief Justice of the SC Sushila Karki on January 13 had appointed them and installed them in the respective courts. 


Present on the occasion were Chief Justice Karki, Law Minister Ajay Shankar Nayak and SC judges. RSS
