Home Minister Khand directs security agencies to facilitate to hold election in peaceful manner

KATHMANDU, May 5: Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand has directed security agencies to help organize the May 13 local election in a fair and impartial manner as the government has shouldered the responsibility to this effect.

KATHMANDU, May 5: Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand has directed security agencies to help organize the May 13 local election in a fair and impartial manner as the government has shouldered the responsibility to this effect. 


Addressing a mass gathering of Nepali Congress (NC) cadres in Rajbiraj today, minister Khand, also the NC leader, urged all political parties to participate in the poll in a cordial way.

Claiming that changes in the country would be accelerated following the election, Minister Khand urged people to vote for the NC to safeguard and strengthen democracy.
