KATHMANDU, April 24: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) has written to all 77 district administration offices directing them to seize calendars, pocket calendars and wall calendars published without a prior approval from the official entities.
Issuing a circular on Sunday, Ministry's Under Secretary Bhim Kant Sharma has said that it was the job of the Nepal Calendar Determination Development Committee to issue an approval for the calendars, pocket calendars and wall calendars adding that even the cabinet makes a basis for the dates developed by the Nepal Calendar Determination Development Committee.
The MoHA has asked the district administration offices to book the publishers of unauthorized calendars, pocket calendars and wall calendars.
Likewise, the MoHA has reminded all the aspirant publishers to take prior approval from the Committee for the publications of calendars, pocket calendars and wall calendars.
