Honda’s assembly plant comes into operation in Nepal

KATHMANDU, March 9: Honda's two-wheelers will be assembled in Nepal. Minoru Kato, vice-president of the main business unit of Honda Motorcycle, has inaugurated Honda's 'Assembly Plant' at Bhairahawa.

KATHMANDU, March 9: Honda's two-wheelers will be assembled in Nepal. Minoru Kato, vice-president of the main business unit of Honda Motorcycle, has inaugurated Honda's 'Assembly Plant' at Bhairahawa.

The plant opened with an investment of Rs 1.5 billion covers an area of 200,000 square feet. The company said that the plant has the capacity to produce 100,000 motorcycles and scooters.


According to Syakar Trading, Honda's authorized dealer for Nepal, the company is confident that the sale and distribution of products, availability of spare parts and servicing will be more convenient and accessible through its subsidiary company Himal Moto along with the new assembly plant.
