KATHMANDU, August 23: At the request of the CPN-UML, the House of Representatives (HoR) meeting has been postponed for a week.
The UML requested the Speaker not to hold the meeting of the HoR saying that there are meetings of various committees of the party from today till August 28.
Parliament meeting deferred to 3 pm at PM’s request
According to the UML's request, the meeting of the House of Representatives has been adjourned until 11AM on August 29, the Speaker's Press Adviser Shridhar Neupane said.
UML is scheduled to hold a politburo meeting on August 25, a Central Committee meeting on August 26 and 27, and the Election Operation Committee meeting on August 28.
In today's meeting, Law Minister Gobinda Bandi presented the 'Bill to amend the Commission for Investigation, Truth and Reconciliation Act, 2071'.
