KATHMANDU, July 9: The meeting of the House of Representatives has been adjourned till Monday.
Earlier, the meeting called for 1PM on Sunday was postponed to 3 PM at the request of the Prime Minister. But later, the meeting was postponed to 3PM on Monday.

The opposition party CPN-UML has been obstructing the HoR meeting. Top leaders of three parties along with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal had a discussion on Sunday morning to lift the obstruction in the House.
In the discussion, CPN-UML agreed to lift the obstruction after Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal agreed to furnish clarification on his controversial statement made about Sardar Pritam Singh on July 3. However, the meeting of the HoR was postponed at the last moment.
