KATHMANDU, June 9: The meetings of the House of Representatives (HoR) scheduled for today and tomorrow have been postponed.
A meeting with the chief whips of the main parties held this morning at the Speaker's residence in Baluwatar decided to postpone the parliament sessions, scheduled for today and tomorrow, for two days. The agenda was to discuss the Appropriation Bill from today, with regular discussions now set to resume from June 11.

The postponement occurred because the parties sought time to study the budget manual for ministerial discussions under the Appropriation Bill, 2081 BS.
In the meeting called by Speaker Devraj Ghimire, Deputy Speaker Indira Rana, Nepali Congress Whip Sushila Thing, UML Chief Whip Mahesh Bartaula, Maoist Center Chief Whip Hitraj Pandey, RSP Chief Whip Santosh Pariyar, and RPP Chief Whip Gyan Bahadur Shahi were present.
